1. What is the admission process?

The first step is registration for admission by submission of the completed admission form (form available from website). Kindly check the “Admission” link in the website for details.

2. What is the duration of the written test?

Kindly check the “Written Test Details” under the link "Admission" in the website for details.

3. How many students are there in a class?

Each class would have an average of 25 - 30 students.

4. What are the fees and when are they payable?

Fee has to be paid in one instalment in the first week of April every year.

5. How are the fees to be paid?

Fee has to be paid by Banker’s Cheque / Demand Draft. DD / Banker’s Cheque has to be drawn in favour of National Educational Trust, Mysore.

6. Is NPS Mysore a day boarding school?

NPSI at Mysore is a day school. We do not provide breakfast and lunch.

7. What is the academic calendar?

The academic calendar is from June to March.

8. What are the school timings?

9:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for Montessori and Kindergarten and 8:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the rest of the school. The lunch break will last for half an hour and in addition there would be a short break in the morning.

9. Are text books and notebooks provided by the school?

The school will facilitate for study materials, text books, notebooks, etc for the students to avoid hardships for the parents to run around for books.

10. When will we get books?

Books will be issued before school commences. In case of delay in the consignment of some books, the same will be issued to the students after school begins.

11. What are the timings for Co-Scholastic and Extra Curricular Activities?

Co-Scholastic Activities are included in the daily time table. The Extra Curricular Activities (which are optional) would be conducted after school hours on specified days.

12. When can we visit the campus?

As NPSI at Mysore is a fully functional school now, campus tour for parents and others will not be allowed for security reasons.

13. What are the vacation schedules?

April first to third week of May is the summer break, Dasara vacations in Sep /Oct and winter vacations in December. The actual number of holidays for the academic year will be mentioned in the school almanac.

14. Does the school provide transport facility?

We have already appointed a reputed transport contractor to extend the benefit of transport to our students from every nook and corner of Mysore. Details are available in the “Contact Us” section of the website.

15. Where will we get uniforms?

Uniforms will be organized through authorised uniform dealer(s). Please check “Dress Code for Students” under the link “School” in the website.
